"I was so excited for these cute labels. I love the designs, they stick great. But the writing feature is useless. Wet erase expo marker wipes right off due to condensation. Dry erase, predictable, also wipes off. I haven't tried using sharpie yet and removing with rubbing alcohol but that is the only. orhwe option other than just using masking tape again. I like that they are cute but the writing. feature is really what I wanted them for and it's not possible."
"I love the labels they are very cute and definitely stay put even if it’s multiple washes. However, I can’t find a marker to write on them and it stay on there when placed in a fridge. I used the recommended wet pens but when they get condensation from the fridge it rubs off."
"I like the labels but I don’t like how easily erased the dry erase marker is with this. I have tried multiple markers and they all smudge off by the time they get to daycare. Is there a specific marker I need to buy? I feel like I’ve tried them all. The company should list what specific marker is recommended. At this point the masking tape works better"
"Great labels when putting through the wash but when I write on them with a wet marker the ink comes off. We notice this only happens when the bottle was in the refrigerator and you grab the label. Not too sure if there is a better marker to use."

"They’re cute, but the recommended wet erase markers rub right off once the bottle is cold (due to condensation). In fact, they rub off even when the label and bottle are dry. I’m going to take them all off and just use masking tape. I don’t want my baby to get ink all over their hands or daycare to give the wrong bottle by mistake."

"Loved the idea, size and decor. But tried both dry and wet erase markers and were disappointed with how easily the writing came off. Even after ensuring the bottle was dry and the writing had time to dry, the condensation from the cold milk was enough to melt the writing. Now we just apply masking tape on top of the label. Still get use out of the name label."
"Honestly, these are terrible. The idea is great. They stick well on the bottles. But that’s it. The item description says to use a wet erase marker. I bought “expo wet erase markers” and they smear right off. I tried waiting 5, 10, 30 minutes before touching, and it still smeared. This is on a dry surface, with no milk inside the bottle. I contacted customer service and it was suggested I try a grease pen… I’m not going to spend more money on something that I don’t know if it will work or not when I already bought what was suggested on the website. Mabel’s Labels in general are fantastic - they really stay forever and we love them - but this product specifically is horrible. Waste of money."
